4 Ways To Make Your Healthy New Year Resolution Become a Habit
Ever made a New Year resolution then find yourself giving up on it before February 1st?

The older we get the harder it is to live up to your resolutions.
Whether you want to just eat better or exercise more, there are common sense steps you can take to improve your odds like the four below from the American Psychological Association.
Folks who know something about the workings of the human mind and how to motivate it!
Make Your Healthy New Year Resolution a Habit
1. Take one Step at a Time.
Don’t try to change your whole life at once, or you will become overwhelmed and give up.
Focus on what you want to change most and start there.
2. Start Small.
Make your initial goal achievable.
Instead of saying you resolve to lose 50 pounds, instead say you will take a walk around your neighborhood every day for a month.
When the month is up you can add new goals such as losing 10 pounds in the next month.
You have made one simple change by walking daily that will be the beginning of achieving this new goal.
3. Share Your Journey.
Tell people your New Year resolution. This will give you a sense of accountability.
In fact, you have a 25% greater chance of doing it if you consciously decide to do it.
That figure jumps up to 65% if you commit to someone else that you will do it.
Then it sours to 95% if you have a have a specific accountability appointment with that person.
Plus, when you share your journey, your friends and family may also offer moral support and share ideas about what has worked for them.
4. Don’t Expect Perfection.
We are not perfect. Sometimes you will eat that candy bar, some days you will skip doing your exercises.
If you’re aiming for perfection, you will become discouraged more easily when you fail to achieve it. You may even give up on your goal entirely since perfection is a standard that just can’t be maintained for an extended amount of time.
Instead, be gentle with yourself, and just pick back up where you left off. Today is a new day and you are in this for the long haul. There will be bumps in the road, and that’s OK.
One easy healthy New Year resolution is to take Juice Plus+ capsules daily. It’s the no brainer way to get the nutrition of 30 fruits, vegetables, and grains. Juice Plus+ helps to bridge the gap on those days when you don’t quite keep your resolutions.
Research has also shown that taking Juice Plus+ makes it more likely that you will adopt healthy habits, such as eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking fewer sugary drinks.
That’s because just taking one simple step makes you want to take the next one.
Your first success in many more future successes.
